SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Where Do We Ship?
Ordering an item from BYUNSPEED? We can ship to virtually any address in the lower 48 states. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped.
BYUNSPEED ships to the address provided by the customer. If DHL, FedEx, UPS or USPS charges BYUNSPEED for an address correction, the customer will be billed for that correction. We will no longer be responsible for customer typographical errors or incomplete addresses. By placing an order with BYUNSPEED you the customer authorize us to charge your account.
How Much Does It Cost?
FREE on orders $100 and over within the lower 48 states. Orders shipped via Truck Freight or denoted with This part is shipped via truck freight, additional shipping charges will apply. Multiple truck freight parts on an order may increase the shipping amount. in the Product Description are excluded from the Free S&H. Your customer representative will contact you with shipping costs.
What is your policy on international or foreign shipping?
Foreign orders are classified as those shipping outside of the U.S., Canada, or U.S. territories. This includes APO and FPO addresses. APO/FPO orders can only be shipped via U.S. Postal Service and must be pre-paid by a check or credit card. All foreign orders must be pre-paid. Actual freight charges will be based on weight and billed upon shipment.
Handling on all foreign orders is $24.95 per order. This is non-refundable and it's the same no matter how much you order, so order more at once to save we recommend double-checking to make sure you have gaskets, hardware, installation tools, and other accessories so you can get everything at once.
You are responsible for all shipping charges.
All items entering a foreign country are subject to customs inspection and the assessment of duties and taxes in accordance with that country's national laws. The invoice must reflect actual product prices for parts shipped. Customs duties and taxes will be billed to you by the shipping company at the time of delivery.
Due to additional documentation and possible credit card verification, foreign orders may not ship the same day the order is placed. Foreign orders take an additional amount of processing time due to the necessary documentation that must accompany the orders. Additional information may also need to be obtained by our Credit Card Verifications department prior to shipping an order. We appreciate your understanding and we will ship your order as quickly as possible.

RETURNS & REPLACEMENTS
General Returns Policy
You may return new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by BYUNSPEED within 14 days of delivery for a refund minus a 25% restocking fee and our original Shipping & Handling costs to deliver your product(s). Items should be returned in their original product packaging. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
All returns are subject to inspection. Any part that, in our opinion, shows evidence of being used or installed contrary to manufacturer's instructions and/or subjected to improper handling, packaging, or shipping by the customer will not be eligible for exchange or refund. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee or refuse any exception.
Products used in racing or off road conditions are only warranted against manufacturer defects prior to installation.
Inspections of returned merchandise to BYUNSPEED are completed within seven business days of receipt of the return. Additional time may be needed if the merchandise must be returned to the manufacturer/vendor for further testing.
Items that are Not Returnable
• Items that are classified as hazardous materials or use flammable liquids or gases
• Gift cards and gift certificates
• Ordered parts on sale
• Custom ordered parts
Exchanges
If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item please Contact Us. If you would like to exchange an item for a different one please return the original item (you will be refunded your original purchase price once we receive the item) and place another order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order. Please note that it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process returns once they arrive at our Returns Center.
Refunds
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Any orders paid by credit card will be refunded back to the same account. After we process the refund, your bank may take 7-10 days to post a credit back to your account.
Any orders paid by check or money order will be refunded by a company issued refund check sent via U.S. Mail.
Packing & Sending Your Return
If you are shipping your return to us, we strongly suggest that you use traceable United Parcel Ground Service or Federal Express. All returns must be sent prepaid, no collect shipments will be accepted. Insure the returned part for its full value to protect yourself against loss.

We do not currently accept Smart Cards.

We offer you consistently low prices on every item in our store. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
Price Matching
BYUNSPEED does price-match with other retailers. We do consistently work toward maintaining competitive prices on everything we carry.
List Prices
Except where noted otherwise, the List Price displayed for products on our website represents the full retail price listed on the product itself, suggested by the manufacturer or supplier, or estimated in accordance with standard industry practice. The List Price is a comparative price estimate and may or may not represent the prevailing price in every area on any particular day. For certain items that are offered as a set, the List Price may represent "open-stock" prices, which means the aggregate of the manufacturer's estimated or suggested retail price for each of the items included in the set. Where an item is offered for sale by one of our merchants, the List Price may be provided by the merchant.
Surcharges
Oversized and extremely heavy items will incur a special shipping surcharge. The surcharge varies depending on the size and weight of the item. Some items may incur a sourcing fee to cover the expense of selling these items; we regret that we must occasionally pass these costs along to our customers.
Confirming Prices
Items in your Shopping Cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on the item's product detail page. Please note that this price may differ from the price shown for the item when you first placed it in your cart. Placing an item in your cart does not reserve the price shown at that time. It is also possible that an item's price may decrease between the time you place it in your cart and the time you purchase it.
Some discounts are limited-time offers. Also, as the discount we are able to offer for any item is dependent upon its availability, BYUNSPEED's price will necessarily change on occasion.
With respect to items sold by BYUNSPEED, we cannot confirm the price of an item until you order; however, we do NOT charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Troubleshooting Failed Authorizations and Payment Declines
To protect your security and privacy, your bank cannot provide BYUNSPEED with information about why your payment was declined. Because of this, you most likely need to contact your bank directly to solve most payment issues.
• Contact your bank about payment security policies. Your bank may flag any unexpected activity on your account. This includes first time orders and high value purchases, regardless of the amount of funds available (or credit limit). Your bank may require your verbal authorization to proceed with a transaction.
• Contact your bank about daily withdrawal or purchase limits. Most banks have limits on how much money can be charged or accessed in a single day. If you exceed this daily amount, your bank may block your account from any further activity regardless of available funds in the account. Your bank may require you to request a higher purchase limit to complete the transaction.
• Contact your bank about payment authorizations and reserved funds. When you place an order with BYUNSPEED, we contact your card's issuing bank to confirm that your credit card has a valid number, and has not been reported as lost or stolen. This is communicated via a full authorization for the amount of the purchase.
• If you make changes to your order, cancel items, or a multiple-item order ships in more than one shipment, your card may be authorized for each change and funds may be reserved against your account for each authorization.
• Some banks have been known to hold these authorizations for 7-10 business days. If your payment is declining due to lack of available funds, contact your bank to confirm if the reserved funds are authorizations, verify the amount of time they hold authorizations, and request that they remove any extra authorization to free up funds in your account.
• Verify the payment information entered on your order. Did your billing address change recently or did you get a new card with a new expiration date?
• Submit an alternate payment method for your order. If you are unable to resolve the payment issue with your bank in a timely manner, you are always welcome to change the payment method on your order to another card.
Orders Subject to Sales Tax
The amount of tax charged depends upon many factors, including the identity of the seller and the destination of the shipment.
Items sold by BYUNSPEED and shipped to destinations in the state of Colorado are subject to tax.
No sales tax is charged when purchasing gift certificates; however, purchases paid for with gift certificates may be subject to tax.
How Tax Is Calculated
If an item is subject to sales tax in the state to which the order is shipped, tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item. In accordance with state tax laws, the total selling price of an item will generally include item-level shipping and handling charges, item-level discounts, gift-wrap charges, and an allocation of order-level shipping and handling charges and order-level discounts.
The tax rate applied to your order will generally be the combined state and local rate for the address where your order was shipped. Therefore, the sales tax rate applied to your order may be different for an order shipped to your home address than it is for an order for the very same items shipped to your work address. BYUNSPEED obtains sales tax rates from a leading tax rate service provider.
Note that many factors can change between the time you place an order and the time of credit card charge authorization, which could affect the calculation of sales taxes.
For example, tax law changes may occur between order placement and credit card charge authorization that could result in an increase or decrease in taxes charged.

Manufacturer Rebates
If you have a manufacturer's offer, please contact the manufacturer to check the status.
Warranties
Most parts are warranted by the manufacturer, usually for 90 days from the date of purchase, unless specified otherwise. All warranties are included with your order.
Parts used for racing or competition are warranted against manufacturers' defects only. They are not warranted for wear or breakage under any circumstance.
If you wish to obtain a warranty for a product sold by BYUNSPEED, you may contact the manufacturer of the product directly or Contact Us. If you e-mail BYUNSPEED for the warranty, please specify the product's manufacturer and part number, as well as the street address or fax number to which we should send or fax the warranty.

CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONS
• You may use your browser to complete the entry form. Limit one entry per person per contest. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means are not eligible.
• Contestants must be a current customer of BYUNSPEED and must make at least one purchase between the start and end dates of the contest to be eligible.
• Each contest begins at 12:00 a.m. and ends at 11:59 PM on the dates shown. All times are Mountain Standard Time. Winners will be chosen randomly from correct entries at the end of each contest. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
• BYUNSPEED is not responsible for telephone, network, electronic or computer failures of any kind, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, or delayed by computer transmissions. In the event this contest is compromised in any way, electronically or otherwise, that is beyond the control of BYUNSPEED, BYUNSPEED reserves the right to withdraw the transmission of the contest and award the prize in a random drawing from among entries received prior to the date of the withdrawal. We reserve the right to cancel, modify or suspend drawing without notice.
• Winner will be contacted by email. Please provide a valid email in order to be contacted. In the event we are unable to contact you within 7 days of drawing, another winner will be chosen. Entrant named on winning entry will be considered the winner.
• No substitutions of prizes is permitted except by BYUNSPEED as may be necessary due to unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. All taxes on prizes, including income taxes, and any incidental expenses associated with collection of a prizes (such as Shipping & Handling) are the responsibility of the winner. Winners assume all liability for any damages caused or claimed to be caused by participation or by any prize and release BYUNSPEED from any such liability. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winners name for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation.
• The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States. Prizes won by eligible minors will be awarded in name of parent or guardian.
• Entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of BYUNSPEED, whose decisions are final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from the contest. BYUNSPEED reserves the right to permanently disqualify from any contest any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules.
